Consistent mare Koe appears headed for stud but she gets another chance to chase a fourth consecutive win at Flemington on Saturday.
Trained by the father-and-daughter team of Terry and Karina O'Sullivan, Koe's last two wins have been over 1400m at Flemington.
She's got the same distance again in the Wrap Around Handicap and Terry O'Sullivan fears only a wet track could hold her up.
"That's a little bit of concern for us," he said.
"If it was to be really heavy we might be in a bit of trouble."
O'Sullivan has been delighted with the mare's form with her only flaw this time around a fourth-place finish at Caulfield in April.
"She's been going great but she was unlucky in that race," he said.
"She might be going to stud ... it depends on what she does in her races."
The O'Sullivans' entry in the Gala Supreme Handicap (2000m), rising seven-year-old stayer Exceptionally, is looking to end a run of outs with minor placings in six of its last eight races including the Ballarat Cup and the Zipping Classic.
O'Sullivan said the mare, who ran third to Americain in the 2010 Geelong Cup, had an an injury problem in the autumn and would probably need this run.
"We'll see how she handles it - she'll let us know," he said.
