Queensland star Alligator Blood and New Zealander Catalyst headline the field of eight for the Group One Australian Guineas at Flemington.
Alligator Blood has drawn barrier two for Saturday's $1 million race for three-year-olds over 1600m while Catalyst is set to jump from barrier four.
The pair staged a stirring duel in the C S Hayes Stakes (1400m) at the same track two weeks earlier, with Alligator Blood prevailing narrowly.
C S Hayes Stakes third placegetter Chenier has barrier five for the Guineas in a field which also features last-start Group One C F Orr Stakes-winning colt Alabama Express.
Alabama Express has drawn barrier six.
