Feature summer races on her stable doorstep have won out over any interstate plans for in-form filly Tornado Miss.
The Tony Gollan-trained Tornado Miss chases a third-straight win in Saturday's Mother Energy Handicap (1350m) at Doomben and she has to contend with a drop in distance after winning over 1630m at the same track two weeks ago.
Gollan said plans could change if Tornado Miss won again on Saturday but his preference would be to give the three-year-old a break after a couple more starts before looking to the Queensland summer carnival.
The Magic Millions 3YO Guineas at the Gold Coast would be a logical target.
"She's always been a filly we've had a good opinion of but it's just taken her a while to put things together," Gollan said.
"Probably I'd be looking at trying to get a bit more prize money, give her a freshen up and look at our summer carnival."
Tornado Miss will be ridden by Glen Colless who was aboard when the daughter of Snitzel scored by three-quarters of a length last start.
Gollan said the reason for coming back in trip with Tornado Miss was the lack of another suitable race for a couple more weeks.
"I'm not overly concerned about it," Gollan said, adding the filly was one of the leading chances in Saturday's race.
Gollan's Doomben representation starts with Theft and Rocket To Glory who both resume in the Makers Mark Handicap (1020m).
"They are two really good chances and it's probably a shame they have to clash," Gollan said.
The Storeman and stablemate Sea Tryst contest the Canadian Club Handicap (1200m) with The Storeman chasing back-to-back wins.
