International Group One winner Bayrir will have his second Australian start in the Chelmsford Stakes after missing the Premier's Cup due to his top weight.
Trainer Chris Waller opted not to run him with 60kg in Saturday's Listed race won by another French import, Less Is More, and he will instead run at weight-for-age at Randwick.
Waller will have several runners in both the Group Two Chelmsford (1600m) and the Group Three Tramway Handicap (1400m) on Saturday as he tries to split his major spring contenders.
"I thought Bayrir had too much weight in what was a good race in the Premier's Cup so we switched him to the Chelmsford at weight-for-age," Waller said.
"Shoot Out will go to the Tramway as will Royal Descent.
"Beaten Up will probably be nominated for Sydney and the Makybe Diva in Melbourne.
"Foreteller might also be entered for a race in Melbourne."
Doomben Cup winner Beaten Up is the shortest of Waller's Cox Plate hopefuls at $26 with markets now headed by Atlantic Jewel whose comeback win in the Memsie on Saturday elevated her to $3 and pushed Puissance De Lune out to $7 with It's A Dundeel.
The Chelmsford will also feature a re-match between New Zealander Veyron and Streama who fought out the finish of the Warwick Stakes (1400m).
The winner Veyron will be reunited with his regular partner, New Zealand-based Zimbabwean Rogan Norvall, who had to watch Christian Reith win the Warwick Stakes because he could not get a work visa sorted in time for the race.
Trainer Gai Waterhouse has decided to keep the Queen's horse, Carlton House, at home this week with both stable jockeys - Nash Rawiller and Tommy Berry - serving suspensions.
Saturday's meeting also features the Concorde Stakes and a hoped-for return by the injury plagued Hay List in the 1000m sprint.
The eight-year-old won a barrier trial at Gosford last week, pleasing trainer John McNair and jockey Glyn Schofield.
