Glen Colless has been suspended following an inquiry into a fall at Eagle Farm on Saturday which saw apprentice Anthony Allen lucky to escape serious injury.
Allen's mount Mishani Gladiator fell near the 200m mark of the Canadian Club Handicap (1200m) when the gelding clipped the heels of the winner Londehero, ridden by Colless.
Colless pleaded guilty to a careless riding charge and was suspended for three weeks which started on Saturday night and ends at midnight on October 12.
"I've never put anyone down in nearly 30 years of riding so I'm not feeling great at the moment," a remorseful Colless told stewards.
Allen was able to walk back to the jockeys' room unaided and gave evidence at the inquiry while Mishani Gladiator also emerged from the race without any serious injuries despite smashing a section of the plastic running rail.
Apprentice Aidan Holt was outed for seven meetings from September 28 until October 7 on a careless riding charge for causing interference to Face Off in the final 100m of the Nestea Iced Tea Handicap (1500m) when he rode Hour Of Peril.
Chris Munce's appeal against an improper riding charge from Doomben on September 14 will be heard on October 1.
He is riding under a stay of proceedings.
