Darley's sluggish start to the season turned around in spectacular fashion at Randwick on Saturday with a treble of stakes race victories.
The normally powerful operation had had just three city winners since August 1 going into the George Main Stakes meeting.
It could have read much better if not for three narrow seconds at the same track two weeks ago and two of the horses responsible for those - Guelph and Sessions - atoned with Group wins on Saturday.
"We said on the day we were unlucky but we were not disappointed because they all ran well," Snowden said.
"It turns around quickly in this game."
Guelph was impressive taking out the Tea Rose Stakes for the fillies while Sessions scooted along the inside to prevail in The Shorts.
Sandwiched in between was a Listed Heritage Stakes win by Barbed.
Snowden confirmed Sessions' victory had earned him a trip to Melbourne for the Group Two Gilgai Stakes at Flemington on October 5.
"It was satisfying and a relief too because some of these horses that show so much promise never deliver," Snowden said.
"I was just starting to question whether he was one of those horses so it was good to see him win, albeit by a narrow margin.
"But he has beaten a good field and he still has quite a bit of improvement to come."
Starting favourite, Sessions ($3.30) defeated Aeronautical ($9) by a nose with Spirit Of Boom ($8) a short neck away third.
Aeronautical's trainer Lionel Cohen said his horse would also head to Melbourne but he was undecided on a specific target.
Multiple Group One winner Hay List was trapped wide from his outside barrier and tired to finish second last.
Trainer John McNair will discuss the horse's future with his owners but Hay List might have run his final race.
"His work suggested he was back to his old self. I'm mystified and I'm disappointed," McNair said.
