A field of 10 sprinters has been declared for Friday night's Moir Stakes at Moonee Valley including last year's winner Buffering who is bidding to break through for his first Group One success.
The Moir Stakes (1200m) is being run at Group One level for the first time this year and the Robert Heathcote-trained Buffering has barrier six.
There are four Group One winners engaged including Epaulette who'll jump from barrier four with Kerrin McEvoy aboard while Bel Sprinter has the inside gate and will be ridden by Damien Oliver.
Samaready has gate seven while Moment Of Change will start from barrier eight.
Snitzerland is another chasing a first Group One win and has drawn barrier three.
The weight-for-age Moir Stakes is the final race on the Moonee Valley card at 10pm (AEST).
