A class field has been assembled for the $1 million Emirates Stakes at Flemington on the final day of the Melbourne Cup carnival.
The race boasts six Group One winners including French horse Havana Gold from the yard of Dunaden's trainer Mikel Delzangles.
UK-based jockey Jamie Spencer has the mount but also the job ahead from barrier 15 in the 16-horse field.
Epsom Handicap winner Boban, one of two runners for Chris Waller, has drawn well in gate four, as has stablemate Sacred Falls in six.
Toydini, a brilliant last-start winner of the Crystal Mile, will jump from barrier 12 while Speediness, runner-up in that race, has gate two with only Linton to his inside.
The race is the last Group One event of the four-day Melbourne Cup carnival.
