EL NINO progeny claim track sucess

DE JORGE winning the Invitational Sprinters Gala Hipica de Caracas (Gr3)

The consistent race results of El Nino’s progeny indicate a very good reason to be excited about the son of STORM CAT’s first Australian yearlings that will be on offer in the 2014 Yearling Sales.

Of his five  runners last week in the USA, his results were  3 winners (1 Stakes winner) and 2 placegetters, an uncommonly great strike rate, and the reason he has an overall  70% Winners to Runners strike rate.

Duel STAKES winner, four year old mare,  DE JORGE (5 wins) led all the way to a  dominating victory in the La Rinconada Clasico Tapatapa (Gr3), 1200m by 8 lengths. Her previous Stakes win in the Invitational Sprinters Gala Hipica de Caracas (Gr3) defeating 17 mares from Venezuela, Panama and the USA was also a commanding win by 8 lengths over the prestigious 1200m International Fillies and Mares Sprint.

Three year old gelding, The Boy From Roy  (3 wins; 1 at 2) never looked threatened when he led all the way to win by  2 ½ lengths, eased down in the 1100m Mountaineer Claiming, whilst at the same venue, Heart to Me  took a sit early  to storm home and win by ½ length over 1000m.

Doppler Radar, last start winner by 7 ¾ lengths, set the pace early and fought hard when headed by the challenger,  to be beaten on the line by ¾ length in the 1000m Mountaineers Claiming. The 4 year old Colt has won 5 and placed 6 times in 24 starts.

At Hawthorne,  three year old filly,  My Tee Time (2 Wins; 1 at 2), rapidly gathered in her rivals, after receiving an early check at the start of the race,  to finish second by a neck over the 1100m sprint to the winner,  Rock Hard Legacy, who got her third straight win.

EL NINO(USA) (STORM CAT - Bay Harbor) and CHANGEINTHEWEATHER (USA) (GONE WEST - Meteor Colony) are both standing at Exclusively Equine Veterinary Clinic Breeding Centre at Hatton Vale this season.
