Talented sprinting mare Satin Shoes will return to the racetrack after failing to get in foal during the spring.
Satin Shoes was served by first-season sire Pierro at Coolmore Stud but with no resultant pregnancy she was returned to Clarry Conners' Warwick Farm stable for another campaign.
A four-time stakes winner and Group One-placed in the 2011 Coolmore Stud Stakes won by Sepoy, Satin Shoes will be aimed at 1100m races, a distance she has won at five times.
The decision to retire Satin Shoes was made by her owner Edmund Bateman after she suffered a knee injury when she was galloped on in the Lightning Stakes at Eagle Farm in June.
Conners said the wound had completely healed and he was thrilled to have her back.
"She's beautiful, she's sound and she has developed a bit more," Conners said.
"She failed to get in foal which means I have her back for one or possibly two campaigns.
"There are a lot of nice sprint races coming up and 1100 metres is a beautiful distance for her.
"The Oakleigh Plate is there but it could be a bit soon."
The Group One Oakleigh Plate is run at Caulfield on February 22.
Satin Shoes' Group One-winning stablemate Dear Demi is also back in work ahead of her autumn campaign.
"She looks terrific and will be aimed at all the big races," Conners said.
At the other end of the experience barometer, the trainer has first-starter Conarchie in the two-year-old race at Rosehill on Saturday.
Like several others in the 1100m race, Conarchie will be on trial for a start in the $250,000 Inglis Classic two weeks later.
Maribyrnong Plate winner Boomwaa, the nominal favourite for the sales-related Inglis Classic, is among the acceptors for Rosehill but is also in the field for a benchmark 70 at his home track, Cranbourne, on Friday night.
