Trainer Stuart Kendrick is happy to sail under the radar with his Magic Millions Classic hope Celestial Dragon.
Kendrick has made a big impression since he moved his team from Mackay, in central Queensland, to the Sunshine Coast in February.
He was already well known in the state's south east through the deeds of his filly Doubtfilly who ran fourth in Pierro's Golden Slipper.
Since his relocation, Kendrick has shown he is not a one-horse wonder with a string of city and provincial winners including Celestial Dragon who earned a Classic start with two Doomben victories.
Celestial Dragon is one of only two Classic runners who are undefeated, along with Hawkes Racing's Invisible.
Kendrick said Celestial Dragon's preparation couldn't have gone better and he was unperturbed the colt, a $15 chance, had been largely ignored in pre-race discussions.
"I can't get him any better and it is up to the horse on race day," he said.
"He will jump from the good alley (five) and be somewhere around the pace which is an advantage in the two-year-old race."
Celestial Dragon, who has won just over $113,000, cost $10,000 and if successful on Saturday he will become the cheapest horse to claim the Magic Millions Classic.
