Racing's famous Payne clan will ensure Saturday's Rain Lover Handicap at Flemington is a family affair.
Five-year-old Angelology, one of 16 runners in the race, will be ridden by Michelle Payne whose brother Patrick trains the gelding.
Two of Angelology's three owners are their sisters Maree and Cathy, married to top jockeys Brett Prebble and Kerrin McEvoy respectively.
Michelle will ride Angelology for the third consecutive time in Saturday's 2500-metre race and admits she has extra incentive to win.
"You want to win for your family so there's a little bit of pressure, but it's good pressure," Michelle said.
Angelology has been in consistent form this preparation with his last-start fourth at Flemington preceded by two second placings in the city.
Michelle, the youngest of 11 children and the eighth to become a jockey, rode Angelology when he won at Morphettville in February.
She said Maree and Cathy, both former jockeys, are content to stand back and let Patrick advise her on tactics.
"The funny thing is they don't say anything, they try to make you laugh," she said.
"It's great to win for them and nice to be all involved."
In his 25-start career, Angelology has not won beyond 2250-metres but Payne says her brother thinks Saturday's distance will suit the horse.
At his most recent start at Flemington on New Year's Day, Angelology found the line well over 2000-metres.
"Hopefully, if he can relax, he will have a nice run and he should be there at the finish," she said.
Angelology shares the third line of betting at $10 behind favourite Instrumentalist ($5.50) and last start conqueror Gottino ($8).
