Kathy O'Hara cleared to return to riding

Jockey Kathy O'Hara has received a medical clearance to return to trackwork riding on Friday.

O'Hara has been sidelined since she broke a bone in her left hand in a race fall at Gosford on January 17.

She advised Racing NSW stewards on Thursday that doctors had given her the green light to return to the saddle.

O'Hara is hoping to be fit enough to take some race rides next week.
