Big-race rider Glen Boss will miss Rosehill Guineas day through suspension after admitting to shifting in on Streama early in Saturday's Group One Canterbury Stakes at Randwick.
Boss said he had reacted as quickly as he could to steer Streama away from Red Tracer, the eventual third placegetter.
The jockey will be out from next Sunday and return on April 3, two days before the Golden Slipper meeting at Rosehill.
Stewards said the degree of carelessness was in the low range but it was Group One race and the incident could have had serious consequences.
