The threat of rain in Sydney has convinced connections of Group One winner Snitzerland to bypass the final day of the autumn carnival at Randwick.
The mare will instead head to Queensland where she will take on seven rivals in the Group Two Victory Stakes (1200m) at Eagle Farm on Saturday.
Trainer Gerald Ryan confirmed Snitzerland would board a float on Wednesday evening and was happy connections had made the right decision.
Snitzerland was also among the acceptances for the Group One All Aged Stakes (1400m) at Randwick on Saturday.
"She will go to Queensland because of the threat of rain (in Sydney) on Friday and Saturday," Ryan said.
"We had to know what we were doing today so we could put her on a float tonight."
Snitzerland failed on a heavy track in the TJ Smith Stakes last start won by Lankan Rupee.
Jim Byrne will ride her in the Victory Stakes and if she performs to expectations, Snitzerland will press on to next month's weight-for-age BTC Cup.
