Glyn Schofield has been suspended for five meetings for careless riding aboard Gold Epona in the third race at Randwick on Saturday.
The jockey will fulfil his engagements at the stand-alone Hawkesbury meeting next Saturday before he begins his ban.
Schofield was outed for shifting out aboard Gold Epona near the 900m of the BMW Handicap.
Nash Rawiller also fell foul of stewards who fined him $400 for making a celebratory gesture before the winning post aboard All Aged Stakes victor Hana's Goal.
