Ten acceptors for Group One Doomben Cup

Wednesday 14 May 2014, 11:40am

A field of 10 has accepted for the $500,000 Doomben Cup, including late entry Angel Of Mercy.

Angel Of Mercy will join Streama and Floria as mares in the weight-for-age race at Doomben on Saturday.

Streama has been displaced as co-favourite after drawing barrier eight with new market leader Leebaz to start from gate two.

Leebaz, the last-start Hawkesbury Gold Cup winner, heads betting at $3.90 with Streama out to $4.40 and in-form Victorian stayer Akzar on the third line of betting at $4.80.

Leading Sydney trainer Chris Waller will rely on Junoob and Moriarty as his runners in his bid for three Cup wins.

Junoob is a $6 chance with Moriarty at $10 in revised betting after Wednesday's barrier draw.
