Brisbane will be the next destination for most of the biggest winners out of the Scone Cup carnival, headed by the Gai Waterhouse-trained Cosmic Endeavour.
The filly led home a Waterhouse-trained trifecta in Saturday's $400,000 Guineas when she beat stablemates Liberty's Choice and Ryker.
Despite its short history and having its entry restricted to horses offered at selected Inglis yearling sales, the Guineas has already been a relevant guide to the Brisbane winter carnival.
In 2011, Sincero won the race before going on to claim the Group One Stradbroke Handicap two starts later.
"Of course, the truck is already waiting for them," Waterhouse replied when asked if her Guineas trifecta would head north.
There is also a chance the David Pfieffer-trained Atmospherical will have a Brisbane winter carnival start after she made it four wins in five starts in the Denise's Joy Stakes (1100m).
"I'm very tempted," Pfieffer said.
"But I'd like to stick to three-year-old races up to 1200 (metres) and most of the fillies races coming up are 1400.
"I will sit down and have a good look through the calendar and see what we can come up with."
Scone Cup winner Cameo will continue her campaign in Queensland but Darley is keeping its options open with stablemates Seaside and Aerobatics after they filled the quinella in the Dark Jewel Classic.
Scone trainer Rodney Northam is also thinking of better races with Big Money as the four-year-old improved his record to five wins from eight starts with his victory in a support race on Saturday.
"There's Brisbane or a race in Sydney," Northam said.
"He's had a lot of issues but when he's right he's a good horse."
Stablemate Voodoo Lad, winner of the 2YO Challenge, could be put on a similar path.
Even Twilight Royale, the filly who finished more than 20 lengths from the winner in the Guineas as she chased a $2.4 million bonus, is heading to Queensland.
But her days of chasing carnival prize money are over with trainer Bjorn Baker confirming she will be put up for auction at a Gold Coast broodmare sale.
And Stradbroke plans for Aeronautical have taken a hit with the smart sprinter given a three-month ban from racing because he bled in finishing fourth in the Ortensia Stakes.
