Favourite Arabian Gold has drawn barrier one for Saturday's Queensland Oaks at Eagle Farm.
The David Vandyke-trained filly threw a scare into her camp on Tuesday when she pulled off a shoe.
But Vandyke says quick action to remove the plate before she trod on protruding nails appears to have averted disaster.
Second favourite Tinto will jump from barrier six while Victorian filly Khutulun, the third pick before the barrier draw, has drawn 22 of 23.
The Oaks has a capacity field of 18 with five emergencies also declared on Wednesday.
