Mornington trainer Jason Warren would have no concerns if the Moonee Valley track again hindered horses racing towards the inside on Saturday.
Warren felt racing on the inside section was the reason Longchamp Belle missed a place when seventh to Kievann on slow ground at the June 7 Moonee Valley meeting.
"The other day the track at Moonee Valley was wet on the inside and drier on the outside," Warren said.
"She drew barrier one and she was on the inside the whole way and got bogged."
Longchamp Belle has drawn barrier 11 for Saturday's Eurozone Handicap (1200m).
The draw would usually provoke concerns from trainers with runners at Moonee Valley but Warren said the barrier would aid Longchamp Belle's cause if the inside section was inferior again.
"Hopefully the rail is off again on Saturday because she'll be out in the better ground," Warren said.
Longchamp Belle is yet to win from five attempts at Moonee Valley but the three-year-old has posted two strong seconds at the track.
She was narrowly beaten by Group Two winner Solicit over 1200m in September last year while the subsequent Group One Australasian Oaks victor May's Dream was third in the same event.
The Charge Forward filly also finished third to Miss Steele at the course in November before Miss Steele went on to win at Group Three level in the autumn.
Kayla Nisbet will take 3kg off Longchamp Belle's weight, leaving her to carry 56.5kg.
Warren will also run handy staying mare Proper Madam in the Advanced Mailing Solutions Handicap (1600m).
Proper Madam pleased Warren with her first-up third at Sandown on June 4, giving the trainer confidence the four-year-old can win a city-class staying race later in her preparation.
Craig Newitt, who rode Proper Madam in her last win at Caulfield in July 2012, will again be aboard at Moonee Valley.
