Snitzel Blitz wins on debut for Blueblood Thoroughbreds

Thursday 19 June 2014, 4:58pm

Blueblood Thoroughbreds’ winning streak continued over the weekend when SNITZEL BLITZ was too classy for her rivals on debut.

The well-educated Mick Price trained filly, showed real class winning her maiden race by 1 1/4 lengths pulling away. Her win is full of merit and upside given she was a 2YO racing up against older horses.

SNITZEL BLITZ was an astute purchase by Blueblood Thoroughbreds team from the 2013 Magic Millions Yearling Sale for $60,000.

Blueblood’s racing manager, David Mourad, commented, “it was a nice effort for the fillies first start. She did not get many favours in the run and was still strong to the line. A pleasing result for our owners”.

Congratulations to the winning owners,  Mr W Stafford, Delikat Pty Ltd, Mr D Jarvis, Mr G Price, Mr D Foster, Mr S A Lewis, Mr R Douglas, Mr G R Davidson, Mrs C M Mayne, Mr N C Mayne, Mr F Versace, Mr J Caruso, Mr G Cometti, Mr F Valastro, Miss T L Piggott, Mr J A Ramage, Mr M Keefe.
