Kevin Moses has an affinity for the progeny of Song Of Tara with his son No Wine No Song giving the trainer his biggest success so far in the 2008 Sydney Cup.
Joe O'Gara set up Tobermory Stud some years ago with Song Of Tara his pride and joy and No Wine No Song his best son.
Like many Irish horse lovers, O'Gara's passion is stayers and over the years he has selectively bred from the Sadler's Wells horse before retiring him from stud duties a few months ago.
Many of the breed have found their way to the Moses yard including Felix Bay, who runs over 1900 metres at Canterbury on Wednesday.
Formerly known as The Mighty Tara, the four-year-old was one O'Gara decided to sell in a reduction of his stock.
"Joe decided he would sell him and I really liked him so I went to the sale and bought him," Moses said.
"He has won two races for me and has had a couple of runs this time in and I think he will be very competitive.
"Anthony Cavallo will ride him. He had a couple of winners in the country at the weekend and has ridden this horse before and knows him well."
Moses has around four horses in work for O'Gara including Step Lightly, one of two two-year-olds entered to race against the three-year-olds in the Significant Stakes (1900m) at Rosehill on Saturday.
Step Lightly is by Pendragon out of Way Of The Wind, a daughter of Song Of Tara.
"Joe loves stayers and Song For Tara has been a great stallion for him, especially with jumpers," Moses said.
Among the others Moses trains for O'Gara is Singing Flame, an 1800-metre winner and runner-up in the Group Two Tulloch Stakes before finishing seventh in the Australian Derby in April.
Meanwhile, trainer Joe Pride has decided to pit three-year-old Ball Of Muscle against the older horses in a 1200-metre race at Canterbury rather than run him over an extra 50 metres against his own age.
Ball Of Muscle is a half brother to stablemates Tiger Tees, winner of the Group One Galaxy and Terravista who won two Group Three sprints during the autumn.
