Melbourne Cup favourite The Offer has made a cameo appearance at Rosehill as he builds up to the spring.
The Sydney Cup winner galloped between races on Saturday with Travolta who is on the path to a somewhat lesser Cup at Grafton on Thursday.
Looking lean and healthy, The Offer shaded Travolta on the line, running his final 600 metres 35.85s.
"He is so exciting. He gives you goosebumps," trainer Gai Waterhouse said.
"They've run almost one second faster than the winner of the second race here today.
"Josh (Parr) said he could have gone round again. He's not fully fit yet but he will be.
"He will have a barrier trial at Randwick on Friday week and probably one more trial after that before he heads to Melbourne."
Waterhouse is also looking forward to adding Cafe Society and Pornichet to her Melbourne Cup team.
Cafe Society ran third at Royal Ascot while Pornichet runs in Belmont Derby in the early hours of Sunday morning (AEST).
"Cafe Society will run in the 2400-metre race at Goodwood later this month before coming to Australia," Waterhouse said.
"And I'm looking forward to Pornichet running in New York."
