Our Harmony chasing a hat-trick of wins

Wednesday 24 December 2014, 12:20pm

Our Harmony was the last winner for the training partnership of David Brideoake and David Feek.

And the filly could also become the first winner for Brideoake now he is back training solo.

Feek joined Brideoake four years ago but has decided to branch out on his own.

A home bred filly, Our Harmony scored her second straight win at Sandown earlier this month and will return to the track to try to make it a hat-trick in Friday's Dennis Hanrahan Handicap (1400m).

The filly took up the running in the 1200m race last time out and showed plenty of courage when she kept responding in the straight to hold her rivals at bay.

"She's been in great form and has trained on well," Brideoake said.

"I think the 1400 metres is a logical step. She's carrying more weight but deservedly so. I'd expect a good showing."

Our Harmony has top weight of 60kg in the benchmark race for fillies but gets some relief with apprentice Harry Coffey's 2kg claim.

A daughter of Blue Diamond winner Nadeem, Our Harmony is out of the Listed winner Pantenny who was also owned and trained by Brideoake.
