Godolphin's Golden Slipper pecking order will face its first serious test at Randwick on Saturday when four of Sheikh Mohammed's youngsters clash in the Lonhro Plate.
Furnaces, Haptic, Calaverite and Igraine will be vying to cement themselves a spot in next month's $3.5 million race.
Bookmakers have Furnaces, a 6-1/4 length debut win in October, on top and the booking of Godolphin's No.1 jockey James McDonald confirms trainer John O'Shea does too - for now.
"We've got a feeling as to what we think is right," O'Shea said.
"I suppose what James rides gives a bit of a leg-up as to what we think but there's not a great deal between them.
"It's up to them to see where they fit in the mix."
Godolphin racked up its 10th individual two-year-old winner this season when Italy was successful at Canterbury on Wednesday.
She has earned herself a chance to make a Slipper bid in the Sweet Embrace Stakes later this month.
While the $2 favourite Furnaces is the horse expected to add to Sheikh Mohammed's juvenile tally at Randwick on Saturday, Godolphin also has the next two market fancies - Haptic ($5) and Calaverite ($6.50).
It will also have strong representation in the two Blue Diamond Preludes in Melbourne with Antelucan and Pursuits to contest the fillies' division and Bantam, Sampeah and Demonstrate the colts and gelding version.
