Prominent syndicator BlueBlood Thoroughbreds saddle up a number of winning chances over the next week headlined by rising star Secret Agenda.
Six BlueBlood runners will line up for five different trainers over two states starting with Shebrings Class who kicks things off at Goulburn on Friday for young gun Michael Costa. The Sebring mare is returning from a short freshen up and should run an honest race fresh.
The first of Mick Price’s runners, Berlutti resumes racing at Moonee Valley under the lights on Friday night. The son of Not A Single Doubt returns with the all-important gear change (gelded) and is expected to show improvement. Mick Price commented “really happy with Berlutti as a gelding and I would be disappointed if he didn’t run 1st, 2nd or 3rd.”
Rising Star Secret Agenda (also by Not A Single Doubt) is Mick’s second runner for BlueBlood as she aims for Group 2 success in only her second start. She takes on the country’s leading fillies in the Blue Diamond Prelude (1100m) this Saturday in race 3 at 2:40pm and looks to be one of the hardest to beat.
“Tough race obviously, all the good fillies are in the race but there will be plenty of fillies and trainers and jockeys worrying about Secret Agenda drawing barrier 4 with Damien Oliver on board” Price stated.
Shortly after, leading Sydney trainer Chris Waller is also in with a good chance with Black Revolver in the last race at Randwick.
“His work has been good, his first up run was excellent and he will appreciate the better track on offer on Saturday” Waller commented.
Back down south Justiceforall will look to make it three wins in a row for Victorian trainers John & Chris Ledger. The father and son duo (along with twin Brad) not only break in and pre-train all of BlueBlood’s Victorian based horses, they also do a great job of getting the best out of our horses that weren’t able to make the top grade for various reasons. In this case, it was Justiceforall’s naughty behaviour that prevented him from being trained in the city but with many hours of hard work the Legder team have managed to make him a winner.
Finally, 2yo Star Witness colt, Star Appearance will likely debut for Gerald Ryan at Randwick on Wednesday the 18th. He has had two nice trials leading up to his first start and is expected to make a nice debut.
Best of luck to all the connections in all of our horses racing over the next week
