On the same day I'm All The Talk tries to win his first race since the 2013 Skyline Stakes, his stablemate Sebring Sun will be out to cement a Golden Slipper berth in the two-year-old race at Warwick Farm.
I'm All The Talk runs in the Group One Oakleigh Plate at Caulfield on Saturday, a couple of hours after Sebring Sun contests the Skyline with the winner gaining automatic entry to the $3.5 million Slipper.
Their trainer Gary Portelli says the two are different types but hopefully they will have the same winning results.
"I'm All The Talk won the Skyline but had probably come to the end of his preparation when he ran unplaced in the Golden Slipper," Portelli said.
"Sebring Sun would be peaking for the Slipper in another three weeks,
"But he has to win or run a good second because it's $50,000 to pay up. And if he doesn't go well in the Skyline then he probably can't run top 10 in the Slipper."
I'm All The Talk ran 10th in the Slipper, picking up $50,000.
The four-year-old has won two barrier trials ahead of his Group One and Portelli is looking to him to lead and control the race.
"There are two leaders and I'm not sure if Lord Of The Sky can beat him for speed early," he said.
"If we can lead him, then we will be controlling the race and hopefully he has a kick at the end.
"He can't be held up. He just has to run."
Leading Sydney apprentice Winona Costin will have her first ride in Melbourne on I'm All The Talk while Blake Shinn, who sits alongside James McDonald on top of the senior premiership, rides Sebring Sun.
Hugh Bowman will be aboard the Portelli-trained Racy in the juvenile fillies race at Warwick Farm as she tries to book her Slipper spot via the Sweet Embrace Stakes.
