A return trip to England for the 2000 Guineas is on the cards for Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf winner Hootenanny following his victory at Keeneland.
The colt was an impressive winner over five furlongs (1000m) on Saturday, his first race for the year.
The Wesley Ward-trained colt, who runs in the colours of Derrick Smith, Michael Tabor and John Magnier, is already well travelled, having won the Windsor Castle at Royal Ascot last June before finishing second to The Wow Signal in the Prix Morny at Deauville.
The Coolmore principals already own the two horses who dominate the betting in Britain's first Classic - Gleneagles and Highland Reel - but Hootenanny could well join the team.
Ward's three-year-old is already well travelled, having won the Windsor Castle at Royal Ascot last June and finished second in the Prix Morny at Deauville to The Wow Signal.
Ladbrokes has trimmed the colt from 33-1 to 20-1 for the Guineas on May 2.
Hootenanny could be accompanied by stablemate Sunset Glow who finished third in a Grade Three event last week.
The filly finished second in the Albany Stakes at the 2014 Royal Ascot meeting and Ward is eyeing off the Thousand Guineas.
