Injured jockey Jack Hill is making slow progress from head injuries received in a race fall at Donald in March.
Hill is recuperating in Melbourne's Epworth Hospital.
The Victorian Jockeys Association said Hill was suffering Post Traumatic Amnesia.
"Jack's physically very, very well but still confused about what (is) happening and why," the VJA said.
"He is improving, but slowly.
"His family greatly appreciate everyone's interest and concern."
Hill's rehabilitation program will begin once his Post Traumatic Amnesia ends.
