Leading Brisbane apprentice Luke Tarrant should be clear to ride at the Stradbroke Handicap meeting after being granted a stay pending his appeal of a six-week suspension for reckless riding.
Tarrant was outed on Tuesday after he was found guilty of reckless riding in the Grand Prix Stakes at Doomben on May 23.
He rode Jumbo Prince in the Grand Prix Stakes and faced two charges from incidents going out of the straight for the first time.
Tarrant lodged an appeal on Friday afternoon and was granted a stay of proceedings.
It is unlikely the appeal will be heard before Wednesday when jockeys are declared for Saturday's meeting.
Tarrant is expected to have Group One rides aboard Jumbo Prince in the Queensland Derby and Sires' Produce Stakes winner Look To the Stars in the J J Atkins Stakes.
