Jockey Eddie Creighton has been released from a Melbourne hospital after making a dramatic recovery from injuries suffered in a fall at Warrnambool.
Creighton came off his mount in a race on Saturday and transferred from Warrnambool Base Hospital to the Alfred Hospital when his condition deteriorated.
He suffered concussion and underwent surgery on his wrist.
The Victorian Jockeys' Association said the jockey had been released from hospital on Thursday afternoon after making incredible progress in the previous two days.
