Melbourne's Sandown racecourse will undergo a mini dress rehearsal for a return to racing with jump-outs on Tuesday morning.
Racing stopped at Sandown in April after trainers, jockeys and Racing Victoria's chief steward Terry Bailey criticised the track.
The surface underwent remedial work in May resulting in the transfer of meetings to other tracks.
Sandown is due to hold its first meeting since Easter on the Hillside track on August 5.
There will be 10 jump-outs on Tuesday morning, accommodating around 80 horses.
Stewards and Melbourne Racing Club track manager Jason Kerr will assess the track following the jump-outs.
