Apprentice Tom Sadler has followed his father John in completing a winning double at Flemington.
Sadler snr trained the winners of the first two races with Wanted and Charmed Harmony, the latter ridden by Tom.
Longshot Del Prado provided Sadler with the second leg of his double in the Timothy Kelly and Kevin Viney Handicap.
Del Prado is prepared by father-and-son training team Leon and Troy Corstens who have also played a big in the young jockey's career.
When Leon Corstens was suspended for six months in 2010, John Sadler took over the training of the team with Troy Corstens as the racing manager.
"I started riding a bit of work there and have known Troy from those days," Tom said.
"I've always had a bit to do with them over the years so it's great to get a winner.
"And to get one for Dad and them as well, its a terrific day."
Tom has only recently returned to riding in town following a trackwork fall in May.
