Sydney's premier jockey Hugh Bowman has had a day to remember at Rosehill, riding four winners.
But his haul has been soured by a careless-riding suspension which means he will miss the first Group One meeting of the Sydney spring featuring the Golden Rose on September 12.
Bowman will be free to ride in the Chelmsford Stakes on Saturday where he is booked for Melbourne Cup winner Protectionist.
Bowman was found guilty for his winning ride on Wudang Mountain in the McGrath Estate Agents Handicap.
Stewards found Bowman carelessly shifted out in front of Tommy Berry's mount Jadeer in the straight.
Bowman's first winner came aboard Centre Pivot, which carried topweight to record back-to-back wins.
He then saluted in the next race when Wudang Mountain ($5) defeated Let's Make It Rain and the favourite River Wild ($1.75).
"I came with good rides and there's been a couple of shorties that haven't won too," Bowman said.
"I'm pleased that I've been able to do my job and it's nice that they're winning for me."
Bowman described Sultry Feeling's win in the TAB Place Multi Handicap as dominant.
He made it four winners with Berrimilla in the Schweppes Handicap, but was also fined $600 for a whip offence on the Chris Waller-trained mare.
