Legendary racehorse trainer Bart Cummings will be farewelled at a state funeral in Sydney next Monday.
The funeral will be held at St Mary's Cathedral from 10am.
Cummings, who won the Melbourne Cup 12 times, died in the early hours of Sunday, aged 87.
NSW Premier Mike Baird confirmed the arrangements on Monday afternoon.
"Bart Cummings was a giant of Australian racing whose outstanding record is unlikely to ever be matched," he said in a statement.
