Ciaron Maher will push on with the campaign of unbeaten filly Petits Filous who will chase back-to-back stakes wins at Flemington on Saturday.

The winner of her first two starts at Moonee Valley before an impressive Caulfield victory, Petits Filous will line up in the Listed Cap D'Antibes Stakes (1100m).

Maher gave the daughter of Street Boss a freshen-up following her win in the Group Three Quezette Stakes over the same distance on August 15 and reported the filly was in excellent shape for her first assignment up the Flemington straight.

Petits Filous had a leisurely gallop on the course proper at Caulfield on Tuesday.

"She didn't do a lot, just bowled around," Maher said.

"She had a week to ten days at the farm after her last run and has freshened up well.

"She looks great, her condition is good and I can't fault her."

Maher says he is happy to press ahead with the filly's preparation at this stage, although he has not looked any further than Saturday's race.

"It is her first campaign so you do have to take it one run at a time but she hasn't done much wrong so far," Maher said.

"If she was to run well on Saturday then we'll make a plan off the back of that."

While Petits Filous will represent the stable in the three-year-old fillies race, Maher will have Brockhoff in the Group Two Danehill Stakes (1200m).

A last-start maiden winner at Bairnsdale, the colt has since been scratched from a race at Sandown and a stakes assignment at Caulfield due to wide barrier draws but has come up with gate two in the Danehill.

Maher has no qualms about throwing Brockhoff in the deep end on Saturday.

"He's out of a quick family, he's a colt, and has always shown ability," Maher said.

"The race at Caulfield didn't map well for him being wide outside the leader and Sandown was very similar.

"There was no point running him for the sake of it."

A field of 12 will tackle the Danehill Stakes including the Mick Price-trained Ready For Victory and Headwater for Hawkes Racing.
