Three high-profile jockeys have been suspended on careless-riding charges at Sandown.
Glen Boss was the chief sufferer with a 12-meeting ban while Brad Rawiller and Damian Lane were both outed for seven meetings.
Boss was suspended aboard Like A Carousel in the Sandown Cup after causing interference to Dwayne Dunn's mount The Offer.
"I've taken his running and I should have taken more care," Boss said in pleading guilty.
"I've got no defence."
His suspension starts immediately with a return date of November 25.
Rawiller, on Tall Ship, and Lane on Rising Romance, were suspended out of the same incident in the Zipping Classic.
Racing Victoria stewards said the pair both contributed to the interference to Kirramosa (Kerrin McEvoy) and Don Doremo (Mark Zahra) in the straight but could not be fully blamed.
Both jockeys start their suspensions immediately and will be free to ride at the Ballarat Cup meeting next Saturday.
Lane's last three rides aboard Rising Romance have resulted in suspensions emanating from the Caulfield Cup and Mackinnon Stakes.
