The feature spring meeting at Sandown has been a happy hunting ground for jockey Kerrin McEvoy and he has added a winning treble at this year's card.
McEvoy previous successes at Zipping Classic meetings have included four Sandown Guineas and a host of other wins including the feature race on Au Revoir and the Eclipse Stakes on Zabisco last year.
Including Saturday's treble, McEvoy has won a total of 14 races on Sandown Guineas and Classic days since 2007 including another treble in 2008.
The Gerald Ryan-trained Solicit brought up McEvoy's treble in Saturday's Group Three Summoned Stakes (1500m) when the mare strode clear in the straight after leading to win by 4-1/4 lengths.
McEvoy had opened the meeting with victory on two-year-old Jackson who is trained by the jockey's uncle Tony McEvoy, then he added another win on Famous Seamus in the Group Three Kevin Heffernan Stakes.
"I always enjoy riding at Sandown and it's been a good day for me again this year," McEvoy said.
"Solicit did it easily. She's been running in good races and running well and today she ended up braining them."
