Sam Clipperton's week has been soured by a careless riding suspension incurred at the midweek meeting at Canterbury.
The jockey was outed for seven meetings for his winning ride on the Joe Pride-trained Ammirata in the final race on Wednesday.
Stewards charged him with shifting out at the 200 metres and causing interference to rival runners.
Clipperton will fulfil his rides at Rosehill on Saturday including Le Cordon Bleu and Binary for the Hawkes training partnership.
He will begin his penalty after the Goulburn Cup meeting on Sunday when he is expected to partner Sabkhat for Godolphin in the feature race.
Clipperton will return to the saddle in time for the Randwick program on December 5, a week before the Villiers Stakes meeting, the feature race day of Sydney's summer carnival.
