A Warwick Farm win has booked Mooshakissa a spot on Peter and Paul Snowden's team for the Magic Millions carnival and the stable is still to play its trump card.
Peter Snowden confirmed the filly would be aimed at the $2 million Gold Coast race after showing natural improvement from a debut third to score an all-the-way win in the Hyland Race Colours Plate at Warwick Farm.
"She was bought at the Magic Millions and you've got to think she's worthy of a chance to go up there now," Peter Snowden said.
"She drew barrier one and had the benefit of racing before, it held her in good stead for today.
"If you're any good you need to find something and she found something today."
Snowden was unsure if Mooshakissa would race again before the Magic Millions or be kept up to the mark with a barrier trial.
The Snowdens already have the race favourite in Capitalist, a dynamic winner of the Breeders' Plate who scored a classy trial win at Rosehill on Tuesday.
He is expected to resume in the Wyong Magic Millions 2YO Classic on Thursday week as a stepping stone to the Gold Coast feature in January.
Snowden eluded to the possibility the stable's carnival team could swell even further in the coming weeks.
"I'm not getting too ahead of myself but we've got a few irons in the fire and I'm hoping we can pull them all out on race day," he said.
Gai Waterhouse has also stepped up preparations for the Magic Millions carnival with Flamboyant Lass who partnered stablemate English in a 1200m exhibition gallop between races at Warwick Farm.
Flamboyant Lass made the running and held off the Golden Slipper placegetter by a short neck, clocking a slick 33.37 seconds for her final 600m.
Kerrin McEvoy said it was good work from the three-year-old who is heading towards the $2 million Magic Millions Trophy.
"She's a nice, happy filly and she moved really well," McEvoy said.
"She put on some nice work there and she'll improve fitness-wise."
Brenton Avdulla was satisfied with English and said the filly was ticking over well although she was not eligible for the Magic Millions race day.
