Champion Victorian jockey Damien Oliver has been lured interstate to ride the Gosford Gold Cup favourite.
Oliver will link with leading Sydney trainer Chris Waller when he partners Telepathic in the $150,000 provincial race on Friday.
He will also ride the Waller-trained Sweet Fire in the Belle Of The Turf Stakes, a Group Three race for fillies and mares.
Telepathic finished midfield as a warm favourite at her most recent start, but scored a commanding win in the ATC Cup at Rosehill three runs ago.
The former New Zealand mare heads early Cup markets at $2.60 ahead of Destinys Kiss ($3.20) and Kontiki Dane ($4.20).
Seven horses have accepted for the race with the Gosford track given the heaviest possible rating on Wednesday after 120mm of rain during the past week.
Sweet Fire has raced just once in almost three months but three of her past four public appearances have been in barrier trials to keep her fitness up to the mark.
