Golden Slipper winner Vancouver will be sent to trainer Aidan O'Brien in Ireland to be prepared for a tilt at Royal Ascot.
Vancouver is majority-owned by Ireland's Coolmore Stud and the colt heads overseas after sweeping all before him last season.
In four starts as a two-year-old for Gai Waterhouse, Vancouver won the Breeders' Plate, Canonbury Stakes, Todman Stakes and the Golden Slipper.
He met with defeat for the first time when unplaced in the San Domenico Stakes at his first and only start so far as a three-year-old.
In a statement released by Coolmore, Waterhouse said Vancouver had nothing more to prove in Australia.
"I have no doubt that he is world-class and this plan gives him the best opportunity of proving himself on the international stage, with a view to possible dual-hemisphere stud duties," Waterhouse said.
Coolmore's Tom Magnier said Vancouver would be joining Ballydoyle with Europe's best sprints and mile races in the sights of the stud's all-conquering racing stable.
"Circumstances have forced our hand with Vancouver to an extent, but Gai is adamant that he's a Royal Ascot horse and that's where we'll be aiming him," Magnier said.
"I've spoken to Aidan and Joseph (O'Brien) and they can't wait for the horse to arrive.
"Gai and her team have done a wonderful job with him, as evidenced by his unforgettable two-year-old season and let's hope he does them proud on his travels.
