New Zealand jockey Matt Cameron is facing a handling charge which could affect his partnership with glamour horses Xtravagant and Hasselhoof.
Cameron has been charged over his ride on the Murray Baker and Andrew Forsman-trained Mime who finished second as favourite at Ellerslie on Saturday.
The inquiry is expected to be held next week after Cameron rides Xtravagant in the Group One Levin Classic on Saturday ahead of the colt's Australian campaign.
Cameron has been aboard the unbeaten Hasselhoof in all his six starts with the four-year-old scheduled to have two starts in Sydney next month.
After an investigation into the Ellerslie race, stewards charged Cameron with failing to give the filly every opportunity.
