Brisbane's Eagle Farm racecourse is about to get off and racing for the first time in nearly two years.
The racecourse will open its gates to the public on Thursday after closing in August 2014 for a major refurbishment.
A phantom meeting featuring five unofficial barrier trials simulated under race conditions is being held at the course before its official reopening on June 4.
Stradbroke Handicap favourite Azkadellia is among the horses that will burst out of the barriers.
The refurbishment includes upgrades to the track, drainage and public amenities.
