Nick Hall suspended for 16 meetings

Thursday 19 May 2016, 7:10am

Nick Hall will miss the Group One ride on favourite Azkadellia in the Doomben 10,000 because of suspension with Mark Zahra to take his place.

Hall was outed for high-range careless riding at Ballarat on Wednesday, a day after he returned from a similar ban.

Azkadellia's trainer Ciaron Maher said on Twitter, Zahra would ride the mare at Doomben on Saturday week.

She is the early $3.50 favourite for the sprint ahead of Delectation and Ghisoni at $7.

Hall's suspension begins after Saturday when he rides Churchill Dancer in the Group One Goodwood in Adelaide.

He returns on June 4, the day of the Queensland Oaks meeting in Brisbane.
