Group One-winning stablemates Tarzino and Extreme Choice are stepping up their preparations ahead of major spring targets.
Victoria Derby winner Tarzino is in pre-training at Limitless Lodge on the NSW Central Coast with trainer Mick Price to aim him at the Cups.
After winning the Rosehill Guineas, Tarzino was odds-on favourite for the Australian Derby at Randwick but finished fourth behind Tavago.
Tarzino and Tavago are $15 joint favourites for the Caulfield Cup in October.
"He's spelled really well," Price said.
"He's had eight or nine weeks off and I left him up there for the better weather.
"It's where some of the nice horses get pre-trained and he's happy, he's healthy and he's sound."
Blue Diamond Stakes winner Extreme Choice is about to start pre-training for his sprint assignments.
Price said the rising three-year-old would do his early work at Rockmount in rural Victoria before entering his Caulfield stable.
After winning the Blue Diamond, Extreme Choice finished eighth in the Golden Slipper at Rosehill after being slow to begin.
Price inspected Extreme Choice during the week.
"He'll start pre-training on June 20 and I've got two races in mind, the Moir and the Coolmore," Price said.
"He's put on 50 or 60 kilograms during his break and looks good."
The Moir Stakes is at weight-for-age over 1000m at Moonee Valley on September 30 with the Coolmore Stakes at Flemington on October 29 restricted to three-year-olds.
Both are run at Group One level.
