Francesca Cumani lands ITV job

Francesca Cumani will co-host ITV's coverage of Flat racing next season when the network takes over as Britain's terrestrial broadcaster.

Cumani has been a regular on the Seven Network's Melbourne Cup week coverage in Australia since 2008 and hosts Winning Post on CNN.

The daughter of Newmarket trainer Luca Cumani, Francesca is married to Australian polo player Rob Archibald and lives at Scone in the NSW Hunter Valley.

Her brother Matt began training at Ballarat in Victoria earlier this year.

Cumani will cover up to 50 days of the British Flat season next year alongside Ed Chamberlin.
