Jeff Lloyd had his first win in the Brisbane jockeys' premiership soured with a suspension on Saturday.
Lloyd completed a double at Doomben when he won the last race of the season on Sagaronne ($3.70 favourite) to give him 80 winners for the season.
However, he was suspended for nine days for causing interference earlier in the day on Action Button in the Moet and Chandon Handicap.
"It's been a good day but I wasn't counting on the suspension. I suppose it is an enforced holiday," he said.
Lloyd's suspension will start on Sunday night.
