Incoming sires Press Statement and Headwater will launch a new-look roster at Vinery Stud's annual Stallion Parades on August 20th and 21st.
They are the first additions to Vinery’s stellar line-up since Champion 3yo colt All Too Hard retired in 2013. Like All Too Hard, Press Statement won the Caulfield Guineas Gr.1 and retires to stud as the first colt in several years to retire as a 2yo (J.J Atkins S Gr.1) and a 3yo Group One winner.
Silver Slipper winner Headwater has always had a strong following being a star Easter yearling with a brilliant pedigree and physique to match. Both newcomers have been extremely well received and have settled in well to Stud life ahead of what will be a busy season.
Returning for a record breaking 16th consecutive shuttle season, More Than Ready is showing no signs of slowing with 3 new Gr.1 winners in Australia this season. His new sire sons Gimmethegreenlight (Aus) claimed the Champion First Season Sires title in South Africa and his Vinery barn mate Pluck sired as many first crop winners as any other first season Australian sire this year in a brilliant debut season.
Prominent proven 2016 sires Mossman, Testa Rossa, Husson, Myboycharlie and Casino Prince round out a 10-horse roster on show at the historic Vinery Stud property.
