Group One winner Black Heart Bart is a drifting favourite ahead of the declaration of the final field for the Memsie Stakes at Caulfield.
The Darren Weir-trained six-year-old has eased from $2.70 to $2.80 for Saturday's Group One race with money coming for stablemate Palentino who has firmed from $8 to $7.
Black Heart Bart hasn't raced since his second to Under The Louvre in the Stradbroke Handicap at Eagle Farm in June.
The placing followed his narrow victory over that horse in The Goodwood at Morphettville in May.
Palentino has a run under his belt in preparation for the 1400m weight-for-age contest, finishing fourth to Voodoo Lad over 1200m at Caulfield on August 13.
Weir, who also has Mahuta and Prince Of Penzance in Saturday's race, is aiming both Black Heart Bart and Palentino at the Cox Plate at Moonee Valley in October.
Alpine Eagle and He Or She, who are both resuming, have also met with support.
Alpine Eagle, who has only had one start since last year's spring carnival, has firmed from $15 into $13 while He Or She, a last start eighth to Winx in The Doncaster Mile at Randwick in the autumn, has trimmed up from $21 to $15.
